The application process for a volunteering placement involves 3 steps.

Step 1

Fill out our online Application Form and send us a down payment of 50 euro (refundable). We need to receive a down payment to make sure that your application is genuine. This down payment is part of the registration fee of 250 euro.

Step 2

Upon reception of your down payment we will send you a confirmation email within 3 working days. We will carefully read your application and advice you on accommodation arrangements and project details.

Step 3

Within 4 weeks we will send you the main information on your project of choice and a Confirmation Letter. At this point we will request you to pay the remaining registration fee of 200 euro, which is non-refundable plus the first weekly fee of 80 euro and the transportation fee of 55 euro. We will ask you to go through your Confirmation Letter and send it back to us, with or without corrections. In case of changes we will send you a corrected Confirmation Letter.

The weekly fees will be paid before the start of every week, also the high class fee and the culture and language fees.

Final confirmation

Once we have received your final payment and the Confirmation Letter, you will receive a confirmation by email within 3 working days. Now you can start preparing for your trip and volunteering at the project. We suggest you contact JoHo for your volunteer insurance and Joho World Support services for your trip.

Before arrival

Please don't forget to send us your flight details to facilitate your reception at the airport on your arrival date.
