Volunteer work abroad at Butterfly4Volunteers
We would like to thank you for considering Butterfly4Volunteers for your overseas volunteer experience. People volunteer for several reasons, some do so because deep down in their hearts they feel confident to go to the world and give back to the less fortunate because they realize they received advantages in life most poor people haven´t. People also volunteer to gain some life-experience or to learn different skills or new ideas . Some volunteers offer money, time or help because they recognize that they share the world with others and some of whom they may need help in these areas.

Brief overview and what to expect
On arrival in Kenya, we pick you up from the airport and take you to your place of residence where you will be staying during the service. On the following day you will be given an orientation and/or start at your project of choice. We will maintain contact by phone and a monthly visit at your place of service. We expect the volunteers to integrate well with at work and/or at the place of residence, but in case of an emergency you can always phone us for advice and assistance.
Volunteering Abroad and your free time
In your free time, you may want to visit the game parks or go on excursions or hikes. We can give you advice on the best places to visit, major attractions in Kenya and tour operators that offer discount rates for our volunteers.
